Mars joined CI&T in 1999 as a Quality Assurance Analyst and became Partner, EVP in July 2021. Mars is behind CI&T's move from a pure-play services company to a digital products creator using design techniques. He has co-founded two startups, a social running app called 'runens' in 2010 and ‘Smart Canvas’, an AI-driven corporate communications tool, in 2015. Mars is a futurist who predicted people would run with gadgets, Facebook-like apps would enter the enterprise, and the boom of AI long before they became obvious. Mars holds a postgraduate degree in Applied Physics from University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
